Gluten Free Drink at Starbucks by Kara (Diva Team)
Gluten Free Drinks at Starbucks! As we welcome fall with a big smile and cute cardigans, let us also raise our glasses (or our paper cups with cardboard sleeves) as we give a happy HELLO to our favorite gluten free fall drinks from Starbucks. I can drink me some Starbucks when it’s 100+ degrees outside, but there’s nothing better than holding that warm cup o’ joe as the temps drop, the leaves fall, and we bundle up in our snug and cozy sweaters. This month’s post is all about keeping the mojo flowing without the worry of sippin’on gluten at the same time. So read up, put those percolators away, and get your java to go!
***Disclaimer from Starbucks: “Please note that we cannot guarantee that any of our beverages are allergen free because we use shared equipment and handle allergens throughout the store.”
Pumpkin Spice Latte - One of personal favorites that I cry over when it says good-bye t the end of the fall season is this little cup of heaven. Those of you who enjoy the pumpkin season and the flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove will feel like you’ve come home for Thanksgiving dessert. Just the smell alone will make your tummy rumble for some pumpkin pie.
Chocolate Chai Tea Latte - Spicy, yet creamy, this delightful favorite has reached a whole new level with an added love – CHOCOLATE! If you are a tea lover, enjoy the spice of chai, and are a woman (since most women LOVE chocolate), you’ll want to try this new seasonal option.
Salted Caramel Mocha - Sweet and salty combined together creates this chocolate, salted caramel treat that you will not want to miss out on this season.
Brewed Coffee - From their rich, medium bodied brews to their nutty, darker roasts, you have many choices to choose from when it comes to Starbucks brewed coffee. And if you find one you like, no worries on missing out on these during certain seasons, because they are offered daily throughout the year!
Hot Chocolate – Not interested in coffee or tea, but want to enjoy something warm and soothing? Looking for a drink that is a-ok for the kiddos? Starbucks has just the thing for you – hot chocolate. You even get your option between chocolate, white chocolate, or peppermint chocolate. The perfect combination of steamed milk with mocha and vanilla flavored syrups to suit your fancy. Enjoy this heart-warming beverage.

Espresso Beverages - Whether you prefer a Cinnamon Latte, a Caramel Macchiato, or a Caffe Mocha, you’re sure to enjoy one of the many espresso beverages on the Starbucks menu. Choose hot or iced beverages and the flavor of your liking, but be sure to stay away from the light skinny mocha, as the Starbucks rep indicated that a portion of this product is processed on shared equipment with products containing gluten.
Frappuccino Blended Beverages - Come snow or heat, if your preference is an icy-cold blended coffee, then the Frappuccino line is for you. With more flavors than I can name, your choices are near endless. The Starbucks rep warns us tosteer clear from the Java Chip Frappuccino however, due to the cookie crumbles that contain flour.
Refreshers - Needing a little natural energy in a refreshing real fruit juice drink? Lightly caffeinated with Green Coffee Extract, this Refresher will delight your mouth as it gives you a nice pick-me-up experience. Enjoy Valencia Orange, Very Berry Hibiscus, or Cool Lime that are freshly made and served over ice, or grab a canned refresher to go in Orange Melon, Raspberry Pomegranate, or Strawberry Lemonade.
Teas - Want a yummy non-coffee option (iced or warm and sweet) that will soothe your pallet in a magical way?Indulge in flavors that represent the globe; China Green Tips, Indian inspired Chai Tea, or Sri Lanka garden grown just to name a few. You will be delighted that so many different aromas and flavors are on the menu for your picking!
Indulge away as you warm up this fall and winter season with a treat from Starbucks, but please remember that the store is full of gluten containing treats, so please be very cautious of cross contamination and when in doubt, always talk to the manger as you proceed with your purchase.
Enjoy your “daily grind.”
