I’m a huge fan of great skincare. Since gluten irritates my skin, especially my eyes, I rock out topical gluten-free products. So, if you react topically to gluten, live with the topical form of Celiac (dermatitis herpetiformis), or don’t want to ingest gluten via topical products accidentally, this list of gluten-free face wash cleansers and moisturizers are all you.
Gluten-free face wash cleansers and moisturizers
Himalaya Botanique: This gluten-free face wash is for normal to dry skin. It’s also SLS-free, fragrance-free, and paraben-free. I have found this natural and organic line hanging out on shelves in health food stores.
Brandless Grapefruit Facial Cleanser: I’ll be the first person to tell you that beauty products can get expensive. And if you have sensitive skin like me, then imagine what it’s like trying to find a good face wash that doesn’t irritate your skin – let alone one that actually works! So I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up Brandless Grapefruit Facial Cleansing product and found out just how amazing this cleanser is. It also did an awesome job clearing my acne without drying out my forehead.
Pangea Organics Facial Cleanser: This brand uses pure ingredients, including natural rare blood orange and Egyptian calendula oils. The citrus scent is a perfect pick me up in the morning when you need to get your energy up. Save yourself from awful skin conditions just by running this under warm water and voila! You’re cleansed! One of my personal favorites.
Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser: It’s fragrance-free, gluten and sulfate-free, and is designed to be gentle on your complexion, so it does not irritate even the most sensitive skin type. The formula contains antioxidants that fight aging and moisture lock technology for normal to dry skin types but leaves oily ones feeling refreshed. I love this facial cleanser because it’s gentle enough for my skin that always reacts badly.
100% Pure: This gluten-free line is also free of synthetic chemicals, chemical preservatives, and artificial fragrances. This line is sold at Walgreens as well as many local health food stores.
Neutrogena® Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser: This Face wash is gluten-free and can be found at Walgreens, Walmarts, K-marts, anywhere!
Olay Foaming Face Wash for Normal Skin: This face wash is for normal skin, oil-free, and fragrance-free. Olay maintains that if wheat is added to any face wash, it will be clearly labeled. She did warn us to stay away from any product with “fragrances,” as trace amounts of gluten may be present.
Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser: According to the Olay Rep, this face wash is gluten-free and can be found at Walgreens, CVS, etc.
Clean and Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser Sensitive Skin: This gluten-free cleanser can be found almost anywhere and for sensitive skin.
Burt’s Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser: Burt’s Bee’s maintains that if any gluten is added to their products, it will be clearly labeled, no guessing. I dig that. Also, these face cleansing products are only around $8-$10.
